In our Reiki 1 Class, we always say, “Reiki is for you first.” It is imperative that Reiki practitioners not rush into treating others if they are not in a regular self-practice. Self treatment is easily done in a chair or in bed. Reiki self practice can be employed first thing in the morning, right before bed, as part of a seated meditation, or even listening to music or watching television.
