This video is a daily 12-minute version of the Reiki Meditation – a method Mikao Usui taught his Reiki students to help them strengthen and develop the flow of Reiki within themselves. In this guided meditation we will practice Jyoshin Kokyu Ho, the light breathing purification method, which is one part of the full Hatsurei-ho technique.
In the longer meditation experience, taught on Zoom each month, we also focus on the tanden or lower hara—the body’s energy storage center—by stretching and expanding the body’s ability to store Reiki. Then we move on to the compassionate phase of sharing the light with the whole world. We purify and awaken the light within all that lives, and thereby experience temporary awareness of our oneness with all living beings.
